Frequently asked questions
How do I get started?+
Download Mirror, create an account, and describe what you're facing in your own words. Mirror suggests Bible characters who walked a similar road and offers a plan you can start straight away.
I missed a day. Did I lose my streak?+
Not necessarily. Your streak includes grace days, so a missed day doesn't wipe out your progress. Just open today's practice and carry on.
Who can see my journal and check-ins?+
Only you. Your struggles, check-ins and journal are private by default. They are shared only if you choose to share something, for example with an accountability partner.
How do accountability partners work?+
You can invite people you trust and choose, for each person, what they can see. You can change those settings or remove a partner at any time.
I forgot my password.+
On the sign-in screen, tap “Forgot password?” and enter your email. We'll send a 6-digit code that works for 15 minutes. If you usually sign in with Apple or Google, keep using that button, or set a password from Settings.
I'm not receiving emails from Mirror.+
Check your spam or junk folder, and make sure the email address on your account is correct. If it still doesn't arrive, contact us.
How do I change my reminders or notifications?+
Open Settings in the app to choose which reminders you get, and when.
Is Mirror a replacement for counselling or therapy?+
No. Mirror supports spiritual growth and reflection, but it is not medical or psychological care. If you're struggling, please also reach out to a doctor, counsellor, or someone you trust.
Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Mirror account and its data at any time.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Mirror and sign in.
- Go to Settings, and under Account tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm. Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.
By email
If you can't get into the app, email support@bellatrixmediaconsult.com from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm the request, and we will delete your account within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Your profile (name, email, phone, date of birth, city and photo), the struggles you entered, check-ins, journal entries, reflections, prayer requests, plans and progress, streaks, notification settings and accountability partner connections. This can't be undone. Any copy held in a backup is removed when that backup expires, within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account. If you have a subscription, cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings too, because deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription.
If you are in crisis
Mirror is not an emergency service, and nobody monitors what you write in real time. If you or someone else is at immediate risk, call your local emergency number now.
